Day two of fall term Of my senior year and my previously flawless and amazing 2 year old HP Envy laptop has bricked itself. The charger was only putting out .2 volts, so I swapped it out to one that was putting out a proper 19.7 volts. Still bricked.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDGE!

Did you buy more than one year warranty when new? Call hp to make sure. If not not maybe there is an Extra warranty via credit card it was bought on?

I used to work at a laptop repair place. Might be fixable if you can find reputable shop. What area are you located? What model E nvy? There may be common failure parts for this.
